The Issue: The White House’s celebration of passing the Inflation Reduction Act while the Dow plunged.
Watching President Biden speak about his spending bill, which will “help reduce inflation at the kitchen table,” was startling (“Party cra$her,” Sept. 14). Even CNN cut to the New York Stock Exchange tumbling.
And this president, who has crippled the natural gas/oil industries by pushing green alternatives for energy, hopped on a plane to vote in a primary in Delaware. Ever hear of mail-in ballots, Joe?
Inflation of 8.3% is a crippling tax on all citizens in the US. Biden doesn’t need to declare no new taxes on those earning $400,000 or less — they’re already here.
According to the president, taxpayers should rejoice at this historic win for all Americans.
On the day the Dow crashes almost 1,300 points and inflation rises to more than 8%, Biden has a celebration of his Inflation Reduction Act, attended by hundreds of people.
Somebody tell clueless Joe that there is no cause to celebrate. Thanks to him, the economy is in the dumpster. Hey, Mr. President: When somebody asks, “How stupid can you get?”, don’t take it as a challenge.

Despite the president’s “blueprint” for a better economy, inflation continues to grow at a torrid pace, hurting Americans trying to make ends meet.
True, certain events like Russian President Vladimir Putin’s war on Ukraine are out of Biden’s control.
However, forgiving billions of dollars of student loans, spending unknown billions to feed, house and clothe illegal immigrants and buying dirty oil from bad actors like Venezuela while halting production at home certainly contributed to the inflation mess we are now in.
Instead of a victory lap, Biden should be put in a corner wearing a dunce cap for the economic pain he is causing us.
Biden should have picked someone other than James Taylor, whose song “Fire and Rain” is about suicide and heroin addiction, to play at his Inflation Reduction Act celebration.
With record inflation, increasing urban crime and shootings, rising fuel prices, over 100,000 deaths from fentanyl, supply-chain issues, formula shortages, 2 million illegal immigrants crossing the border and a $30 trillion-plus growing national debt, there was a better choice: Bobby McFerrin’s famous 1988 hit “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” would have been far more appropriate.
It would be so hilarious if it weren’t so upsetting.
As we all struggle with 8.3% inflation and high grocery, rent and fuel costs, the Democrats are partying at the White House like it’s 1999 all over again.
This bunch even brought in James Taylor to sing songs for them, celebrating their victories like the Inflation Reduction Act, which Democrats rammed through Capitol Hill and tone-deaf Biden quickly signed into law. I’m surprised they weren’t dancing to “Happy Days Are Here Again.”
We the people have a choice to make at the midterms. Do we believe Biden that everything is hunky-dory, or do we believe our own lyin’ eyes?
On the very same day the stock market plummets precipitously and while inflation is still at a historic high, President Biden gives a Rose Garden tour de force in abject imbecility.
Along with Sen. Chuck Schumer, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the usual unctuous minions, Biden ranted and pontificated, reminding Americans how lucky we are to have him in charge, all while oblivious to the misery he has inflicted upon millions.
Only in the absurd clown car masquerading as the Biden administration could such a thing happen.
This administration’s ineptitude might be amusing were it not so pernicious. As Americans continue to suffer and the country accelerates toward the cliff, these elitists gloat and take a victory lap.
